TGIT....thank God its Thursday....I will admit I am not young anymore...or should i say I need my sleep...this whole week momma and I have been coming in @ 4am...to be honest this is not so bad, the problem is I am to stuburn to go to bed early, so it is 10 or 11 and I am going to bed, so when 230 comes around....I am just falling asleep.....so I need Friday off....the ironic part is I will probably wake up @ 7am on my own!!!!!
I just want to remind all of you...that God is Great. I have been struglling with a personal issue, that gets me frustrated each time I think about it. I know that I can go to the Lord and he will give me peace, but again I am struggling becuase I beat myself up over it, but I know better and I stil do it. Well to make a long story longer...(I always wanted to say that) today I got a devotion on the each matter that I am struggling with, I told you God is good. I know that probably 1000s got the same email that I did, and the greatest thing is that it will affect each of them as well. It may not be as direct as it was for me, but God knows our hearts, he knows our weaknessess and he knows how to teach us, how to encourage us and most importantly how to love us.
As the long 3-day weekend approaches, I just want to wish you all a safe and happy 4th of July. As you are celebrating yours/our freedom, take a second and take advantage that we have in worshiping our God openly, and give him a thanks for all the freedoms that we each take for granted. On that same note, say a prayer for the 1000s of soilders that are fighting for our freedom....even if you do not belive in the war....support our men/woman....
