Are you Happy?

"Seek your happiness in the LORD, and he will give you your heart's desire." Psalm 37:4


I believe that everyone wants to be happy, I believe that this is the one goal that we all attempt to achieve. Many spend their entire life striving to be happy. We will try almost anything to reach that level of happiness. Yet many times we feel that we have reached that level only to soon realize that we still are not happy.
When you ask someone what will make them happy, the answers range from: an unlimited amount of money to more time, better health, etc. My question would be to those same people, including me and you. Have you asked the Lord into your heart, have you begun your journey towards happiness seeking the Lord has your sole provider of happiness.
This is what this verse means to me, if we are truly seeking the goodness of the Lord, and the desires of his heart; then the earthly short-term things that we think will make us happy will be revealed to us in their short-comings. We then will be satisfied in our relationship with God and we will not go through the journey of life seeking temporary happiness, we will go through life serving and seeking our AMAZING WONDERFUL GOD, and then we will have true ever-lasting happiness.
